Weekend Project

I so want to make this!

Ever since the husband and I have been married the mail has either been dropped on the kitchen island or the kitchen table. Lately it seems that no matter how many times the island and table are cleared off, they magically become cluttered again (seemingly within minutes!)

Maybe I'll try my hand at making it this weekend... It'll depend on how much my books for school end up being.

Does anyone else have some tips on what to do with mail and the other random papers that seem to stack up in random places?
