I'm off to Tampa again till Wednesday night. Hopefully after this batch of meetings things will be more normal as far as work schedule, and that means time for knitting!
And maybe, just maybe I'll have a finished pair of socks when I return!

Hello Long Lost Friend
Hello long lost friend!
How much I've missed you! I never realized how much I enjoy spending time with you. Your creativity is so refreshing, your voice so soothing. Even when we just sit and watch t.v. the fact that you are there makes me feel so much better.
I know that it has been so long since I last saw you. A month at least. Please lets promise to never spend this much time apart again!
Love and paper cups,
Lani

Only Slight Progress
Well, this past week just flew by! Between working both jobs and not having a weekend due to other activities there has been very little time to knit. Mainly just a few rows here and there at lunchtime.
Dad's scarf is coming along slowly. I've been trying to work on that when husband is playing Oblivion on the 360, but I've been so tired when I get home that I've only managed to add an inch this week.

The Seaside socks are coming along slowly. These are what I work on during lunch, but with only 30 minutes... well, progress is also slow. This week I'm expecting more of the same as we prepare for another meeting. Hopefully I can play some catch up on the car ride to Tampa!
Well, I'm off to finish some laundry so husband can have some clean clothes for tomorrow! (Myself too!) Cross your fingers that I'll be able to get gas tomorrow sometime! Husband said it's pretty difficult now to get my gas tank open, but that it does open.
We'll see if I'm able to fill up!

Gareoinwoi!!!

Dear Crap/crack-head who messed up my gas tank cover,
Thank you so much for ruining my Friday at 6:20 this morning. I could almost understand if you wanted the whole cover, you know, since you would be using it. Why for the love of all things good and holy you just ripped off the plastic cover and left the rest of it is beyond me. I could slightly begin to understand if my car had been parked in the street and you, walking back home from a serious spat with your significant other, decided to take it out on my Jeep… but the darn thing was in the carport, behind my husband’s car. Which means that you must be a freakin idiot.
Not only did you walk all the way up my driveway, you passed my husband’s car (which in all honestly is much nicer), to my car just to rip of a piece of plastic that is no good without the metal piece that you left behind.
So thank you. Thank you, you stupid idiot for leaving my gas tank exposed to the elements and making my Friday horrible. When you hear a blood-curtling scream, that shakes the very foundations of the earth, know that you indeed are responsible and water has gotten into my engine. Be afraid.
Extreme loathing and stabbing needles,
Lani

Cut and Paste

All the Tshirts have been interfaced. All have been cut. All have been arranged.
I spent the morning cutting and arranging the shirts on the bed. Being that I'm a visual person, I had to lay them all out. (Looking at the picture now, I see that the "NAVY" shirt needs to be turned upside down). The shirts are facing all different ways, so that no end of the blanket will be up.
Now I just have to figure out how to get the bobbin back into my mom's sewing machine. I managed to do it once, but the second time it just isn't cooperating! :( If anyone has a Kenmore Ultra 8 and knows a trick or two to putting the bobbin back in please let me know! All of the online manuals that I found are like $10 or so and I really don't want to spend the money if I don't have to.

Oh, there may have been someone else who wanted in on the photoshoot. :)
